To The Daily Sun,
Firstly, I have always been supportive of women's rights and their right to choose that which concerns their bodies. However, Maggie Hassan (and others) are currently airing ads stating that Don Bolduc would vote for a nationwide federal abortion ban.
Logically, this is not possible because the ruling by the SCOTUS did not make abortion illegal, but sent it to the states to rightly decide for themselves. As we saw in Kansas, the people of that state supported women's rights and those same rights are currently protected by New Hampshire law. Any attempt to federally mandate an abortion ban would be held to the same standard set by SCOTUS in their decision on Roe v. Wade and be immediately overturned.
