James M. O'Neil: Problems started on Biden's watch, not Trump's

This letter is in response to the piece that Michael Gallup of Alton wrote on Jan. 6.

First, infrastructure: Big deal over over a bridge in Ohio over a river, President Joe Biden and Sen. Mitch McConnell are both disgraceful. 

Second, foreign policy: The only thing former President Donald Trump did was call out NATO to pay their fair share, as to Kim Jong-un how many test rockets were launched while Trump was in the White House? As for Vladimir Putin, I would almost bet my life on it, Russia would have never invaded Ukraine while Trump was president.

Third, immigration reform: How many people crossed the border while Trump was president? The wall should have been completed, but no, Biden invited people to flood the border.

Fourth, abortion: That matter is decided by each state and by the way, what about Sen. Chuck Schumer threatening Supreme Court justices if they overturn Roe v. Wade? What about Rep. Maxine Waters who told a crowd when you see them meeting (Republicans) you push back and get in their faces?

As far as the Jan. 6 so-called insurrection, if anyone remembers, Trump clearly said peacefully go down to the Capitol and let your voices be heard.
