Hillary Seeger: Do you want someone in NH House who doesn't say the pledge?

To The Daily Sun,

How many of you were outraged when Colin Kaepernick led a movement to kneel during the National Anthem? How many of you, as veterans, as first responders, as patriotic Americans were offended and even outraged? How many of you still don't watch football? Maybe there are other sports you don't watch. Maybe there are brands you boycott because of it? If you're so outraged by these slights and you live in Belmont you may want to think twice before you cast your vote. Mike Sylvia refuses to say the pledge of allegiance and does not put his hand over his heart during its recital. This is protected speech (or non-speech), but is this the type of person you want representing you in the New Hampshire House? I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran and proud to support Travis O'Hara, a true patriot who is the co-pilot on the annual 4th of July patriot boat parade lead boat, captained by another supporter of our military and first responders, Rep. Mike Bordes. If you served, or you support those who served and still serve, you should give serious consideration to supporting Travis O'Hara as well.
