Charles Bradley: America’s current war strategy is pathetic but necessary

Oh, Donald Trump, you’re at it again. Why, oh why, bomb Iran again? Many think the bombing is unnecessary and mean-spirited. Let’s review the pathetic American military war strategy in the Middle East since 1948.

President Harry Truman refused to allow Gen. Douglas MacArthur to cross the Yalu River in 1949 to consummate a victory in the Korean War. Thus, begun the endless wars of appeasement, in which 100,000 brave young men sacrificed their lives to the political cowardice of American politicians. This American dystopic international policy resulted in the Communist Chinese Party that Trump must deal with today. Does Mao Tse Tung ring a bell?

President James Earl Carter’s, a Naval Academy graduate and reputed elite military strategist, political incompetence and short-sightedness resulted in the Iranian tyrant Ayatollah Khomeini and the insane Iranian mullahs gaining control of the Iranian government, which has caused destruction and death in the Middle East and Western civilization to this day. Recalling the age-old aphorism, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” the CCP and the Iranian mullahs formed a military alliance which has constantly engendered a “Hate America Campaign." The historic United States presidential fecklessness of both political parties over the ensuing decades has brought us to today.

Thus, history asks, what choice does President Trump have? Either Iran is allowed to set the world on fire until Iran nukes Israel and the USA, which Iran has repeatedly threatened to do. Or, while the CCP is occupied celebrating its internal matters, Trump has decided to eliminate the Iranian nuclear and military threat for the safety of the USA and the world. Trump’s actions hopefully usher in an Iranian Democracy.

As the great Charlie Kirk said, “Unpredictability is Trump’s greatest weapon.”
