To The Daily Sun,

Responding to a letter published July 31:

A question was asked "Can anyone support masked men..." obviously referring to ICE agents. Our police agencies have traditionally not masked their faces until recently when individuals have publicized information about their homes and families.

I would ask if anyone supports individuals who cover their faces, gather in large crowds, carry items that can be used as weapons to smash windows, loot, burn and destroy private property, harm individuals and kill? Where is "due process" for victims of these crimes who lost their property, livelihood or lives?

If individuals are just peacefully protesting and strongly believe in what they are engaged in, why don't they show their faces and proudly stand up for what they are doing? I do support our policemen and women taking whatever measures are necessary to protect themselves and their families while they are lawfully carrying out their duties to protect citizens of this country.
