The Tilton Farmers Market is hosted by Belknap Area Market Management, and includes farmers from in and around the Lakes Region offering food and crafts. The market is from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays until Sept. 1, at 45 Sanborn Road, next to the Tilton Police Department. Market organizer Paul Gareau, who owns Arandano Farm in Belmont with his wife Angela Letelier, said it is a great way for local people to eat local food. The market also includes a Veterans Bucks program, which provides a $20 voucher for any veteran or active military member with identification. Farmers are reimbursed for any vouchers received. BAMM also organizes The Market at Weirs on Saturday mornings, in Weirs Community Park.
