Staff of Service Credit Union hosted Laconia middle school students at the Gilford branch for a financial literacy event on Saturday. The day featured games, educational activities, giveaways, goal-setting, and other lessons on saving, budgeting, credit, and smart money management. Tiffany Dube, family and consumer science teacher at Laconia Middle School, has been working on similar skills with her students this year. Dube invited her students to attend, and came to the branch herself, to encourage their involvement and learning outside the classroom.
