Orisquami

For those who enjoy creating with their hands, join Squam Lakes Association for a morning of virtual origami on Saturday, Feb. 12, 10 a.m.-noon. There will be something for everyone, from first time folders to seasoned origamists. Lakes Region Conservation Corps member Paul will guide the session, with a selection of models with natural inspirations. With a little patience and some careful folding, whimsical creations like rabbits, squirrels, flowers and bears can be folded. Participants should have a few square pieces of paper. All ages and skill levels are welcome. To register, visit squamlakes.org/events/orisquami. (Courtesy photo)
