GROTON — Elizabeth Jeffrey, 76, of Groton, died December 3, 2022, at her home after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on July 22, 1946, she was the daughter of Walter and Adele C. (Millette) Watson.
Elizabeth grew up in New Bedford and at the age of 17, moved to Greece, New York, to live with her brother. She moved back to New Bedford where she resided for many years. In 1989, she and her husband moved to Groton.
Elizabeth worked for several years for the Kodak Film Company in New York and for six months in Texas. After moving back to Massachusetts, she worked for the Acushnet Company, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and then for the Freudenberg Company in Bristol.
Elizabeth loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, especially at Cape Cod.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Normand A. Jeffrey of Groton; stepchildren, Paul Jeffrey of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Donna Brum of Florida, a step-grandson, her sister, Donna King of new Beford, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
