MANCHESTER — Baseball for Ukraine returns for a second year this Thursday, June 1, as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats team up with Common Man for Ukraine for a night benefitting the child victims of the war.

The Fisher Cats will donate 50% of ticket purchases to humanitarian aid work in Ukraine. Common Man for Ukraine, an initiative of the Plymouth Rotary Foundation, delivers food, generators, clothes and trauma counseling services to Ukrainian orphans and displaced children.

“None of our relief efforts would be possible without the strong support of our fellow Granite Staters. Together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of young people,” said Alex Ray, co-founder of Common Man for Ukraine and founder of the Common Man Family restaurants.

First pitch for the Thursday game against the Reading Fightin Phils is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

The first 1,000 ticket holders who present a receipt from any Common Man Family restaurant will receive a free Fisher Cats baseball cap. Fans who stay after the game will enjoy fireworks by Atlas.
