Belknap Mill Quilters Guild is sponsoring a Seminole Patchwork Workshop via Zoom, and there are still spots available.Â
The Zoom workshop will take place from the comfort of your own home on Sunday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which includes a 30-minute lunch break.
The Seminole Patchwork Workshop, taught by Kristen Echols, is a technique class to learn the concepts of Seminole strip piecing. During the session, students will create four to five distinct Seminole patterns. Each student will receive instructions for 10 unique Seminole designs, along with several variations. By the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have mastered the necessary skills to assemble all the designs. The bands can be made into a quilt or table runner, added to quilts as borders and accents, or used to embellish clothing and home décor projects.
