GILFORD — Queen Elizabeth II was a true icon who inspired people around the world with her strength, courage, resilience and dedication to a life of service. Her reign of 70 years and 214 days was the longest of any British monarch and the longest verified reign of any female head of state in history.

Her likeness and tenacious spirit will be resurrected in a historically inspired live performance by Sheryl Faye at the Gilford Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 9. Faye is known for her performances depicting notable historical women and her manifestation of Queen Elizabeth II is not to be missed. Queen Elizabeth II’s performance will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.
