MOULTONBOROUGH — Liberty Academy Chartered Public School, a new tuition-free school planned for New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, has been awarded a $1.3 million federal Charter Schools Program grant to support its opening in fall 2026. The grant will fund curriculum development, teacher training, student services, and facility preparation.
The CSP grant expands access to high-quality public education by supporting innovative charter schools providing families with meaningful public school options in an open and equitable setting. Liberty Academy is being developed in collaboration with the New Hampshire Department of Education Charter School Office.
Opening initially with grades kindergarten through grade 4, Liberty Academy will offer a classical, teacher-led curriculum with a strong emphasis on literacy, Singapore math, American history, science, Latin, and the fine arts. As a chartered public school, Liberty Academy will be open to all New Hampshire students tuition-free.
Families and community members are invited to learn more about Liberty Academy’s mission, educational program, registration timeline, and upcoming events by visiting libertyacademynh.org and following the school on Facebook.
Liberty Academy looks forward to building a strong school community rooted in academic excellence, character development, and responsible citizenship.
