MEREDITH — Join artist Patsy Frasier at the Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. for a Halloween Hurricane Lantern class.
In this class, students will needle felt a 2D Halloween scene. Using wool, a special needle for felting and fun Halloween templates, students will create a fun spooky picture approximately 5x6 inches. Then they will slip it into a Hurricane Lantern and light it up with twinkle lights. After Halloween they can felt scenes for other holidays and enjoy the lantern all year. This class is made with all experience levels in mind, so anyone from beginners to experts can have fun felting.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Those who wish to attend must sign up by Wednesday, Oct. 7. To register for this workshop, call the Meredith Fine Craft Gallery at 603-279-7920 or stop by the gallery located at 279 Daniel Webster Hwy.
