MEREDITH — The Greater Meredith Program Volunteer Task Force will host a free Volunteer Engagement Fair on Saturday, May 16.

The Volunteer Engagement Fair is designed for residents interested in becoming more involved in the Meredith community. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local nonprofits, community groups, and organizations seeking volunteers for a variety of projects, events, and ongoing initiatives. The fair offers a welcoming place to explore ways to make a difference in Meredith.

“Meredith has a remarkable culture of volunteerism,” Caroline Rockafellow, a member of the Greater Meredith Program Board of Directors and the GMP Volunteer Task Force, said. “This fair will help connect residents with the many organizations doing important work in our community and make it easier for people to get involved.”

The fair will last from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Meredith Community Center Gymnasium, located at 1 Circle Drive. The event is free and open to the public. Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend.
