MEREDITH — Local artist Marie Kelly is offering zentangle art classes at the Galleries at 30 Main. Classes run two hours and are open to all ages. Zentangle is an art form which is often considered a type of “yoga for the brain,” because it can be very relaxing, calming, and is rather simple to learn, requiring limited materials of ink pens and paper. Using a series of repetitive designs and doodles, participants will create a unique, “one of a kind” creative image. Upon the completion of this class, a finished piece will be ready for framing.
Take some time to relax and enjoy learning a new craft. Classes can be a great night out for a group of friends as well. Available class dates are Tuesdays, May 24, June 7, or June 21, 6-8 p.m. Private group classes may also be arranged. Other dates may be added, visit thegalleriesat30main.com for more information.
Participants must pre-register at the Galleries at 30 Main, by calling 603-279-0557 or by contacting the artist at 603-455-0199.
