MOULTONBOROUGH ― Automobile enthusiasts, collectors, and community supporters are invited to an unforgettable day inside one of the region’s most distinguished private car collection of over 60 cars during a special fundraising event benefitting the Friends of the Moultonborough Public Library.
The collection features cars and trucks from the '50s, '60s and early '70s. Some of the highlighted vehicles include a: 1959 Ford Fairlane Skyliner, 1956 DeSoto Fireflite, 1970 Oldsmobile 442, 1954 Cadillac, and a 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible with four suicide doors.
Hosted at the private collection of Bob and Karen Ciardi, the event will take place on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cider Barn at the restored Davisson Farm barn, located at 276 Moultonborough Neck Road in Moultonborough. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will include, tours of the collection, free coffee and donuts, a 50/50 raffle, an opportunity to purchase a commemorative coffee mug from the Friends, and opportunities to meet fellow car enthusiasts. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own specialty vehicles for display as well.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the many programs and events for children and adults the Moultonborough Public Library including: book discussions with scholars, book talks, summer reading program, One Book One Child Book Giveaway, NH Humanities presentations, community events, historical performances, DIY crafting for adults, and sponsor passes to many museums in New England.
“This event is our way of giving back to the community and supporting the Moultonborough Public Library and the great programs it provides for the community,” said Bob Ciardi.
