MEREDITH ― Step inside Berlin's dazzling Kit Kat Club, where the music is intoxicating, the laughter is infectious, and anything seems possible. As the emcee welcomes you into a world of glamour and excess, lives intertwine against the backdrop of a society on the brink of dramatic change.
Featuring unforgettable songs like "Willkommen," "Maybe This Time," and "Cabaret," this Tony Award-winning musical is a thrilling blend of spectacular entertainment and powerful storytelling. Equal parts dazzling, provocative, and deeply moving, "Cabaret" explores love, hope, and the choices people make when the world around them is changing.
Bold, unforgettable, and as relevant today as ever, "Cabaret" is an electrifying theatrical experience that will leave audiences talking long after the final curtain.
The Interlakes Summer Theatre cast will feature Joe Amoroso as the emcee, Quinn Hoy as Sally Bowles, Michael Moretti as Cliff Bradshaw, Kerri Schneider as Frau Schneider and Tom Hallett as Herr Schultz, Max Wetherhold as Ernst and Izzy Scampoli as Fraulein Kost.
This production is directed by Mark Harborth, teamed up with Interlakes regulars, Gustavo Wons as choreographer, with music direction by F. Wade Russo. The stage manager is Sarah Poole, assisted by Finian Richardson and Hailey Lauren Tedesco. Lighting design by David Casteneda and sound design by Lizi Shaul.
