MOULTONBOROUGH —  Advice to the Players of Sandwich and Castle in the Clouds are back at it. To help kick off the season, Advice to the Players is bringing a raucous performance of “Henry IV” to the Carriage House for one night only – Thursday, May 29, at 5:30 p.m. This abridged version of two Shakespeare plays (“Henry IV” parts 1 and 2) will serve as a fun introduction to Falstaff, who audience members will see again in this summer’s production of “Merry Wives of Windsor,” which will be performed in Sandwich and at Castle in the Clouds.

“Henry IV” follows England’s royal family, supporters, and enemies at the start of the War of the Roses. Now that Henry is on the throne, he must fight to keep it, but those that helped place him there regret this past alliance and are teaming up with Henry’s enemies to set things right. Henry’s son, Hal, seems disinterested and spends all his free time at the tavern with near-do-wells like Falstaff, but will he come to his father’s aid in time?
