CONWAY — The man who shot his a relative in the stomach last year was sentenced to at least three years behind bars by a Carroll County Superior Court judge on Tuesday. At a bail hearing earlier this year, the victim asked  the judge not to send the shooter to prison.

OSSIPEE — The lawyer representing a YouTuber accused of hitting a Bartlett police officer with his Jeep, then leading officers on a chase last March, may go to trial in January. He recently filed notice to the court that his client intends to raise an insanity defense.
