BELMONT – The Belmont Police Department, in coordination with the Belmont Senior Center are working together to support the Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. in an effort to raise donations to support Meals on Wheels. Meals on Wheels helps many seniors throughout Belmont and the surrounding communities.
There will be a Walk-A-Thon, on May 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in two locations, Northeast Delta Dental, 1 Delta Drive, Concord, and WOW Trail-Lakes Region Community Service parking lot, 719 North Main Street, Laconia.
For those interested in donating or would like to walk and donate you can do so by singing up at the Belmont Police Department or contacting Sgt. Akerstrom at 267-8351.
