MEREDITH — The Inter-Lakes White math team placed 2nd out of 10 small school teams in their November 12 meet at Merrimack Valley High School. Tilton School won the small school division with 127 points, Inter-Lakes followed with 124 points, and Belmont was third with 108 points.
After two meets Inter-lakes is still first with 256 points, Tilton School is second with 216 points and Belmont is third with 207 points. Top scorer for the White team was Johnny Cox with 18 out of 18 points. Johnny had perfect scores in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Advanced Math. Allison McCann was second with 14 out of 18, and scored perfect in Algebra II. Ariana Lopez, Isabel Cunningham, and Liam Donohoe each scored 12 out of 18 points and Jonah Steiss earned 10 out of 18 points. Parker Caswell, John Schmalle, Cam Daly, and Maitland Merrill also contributed to the White team's second place finish.
The Inter-Lakes Blue team with only 4 members finished 10th. The team was led by Elijah Lopez with 10 out of 18 points. Ambrose Bean, Angelo Burgess, and Cammy LaBonte also competed on the Blue team. The teams are coached by Diane Mega and Bob Marcoux.
