MEREDITH — The Union Church of Meredith Neck will welcome back Rev. Phil Polhemus and Robyn Piper as worship leaders for the church's final summer service, on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m.

"Words that can hinder, but we use all the time," will be the message from Rev. Polhemus, while Ms. Piper, who doubles as the church webmistress, will sing as she did when her grandfather used to preach at the church.

Jane Jenness will play piano, while Charlene Malek and Ginny Lovett will greet.

The Union Church, located at 258 Meredith Neck Road, is interdenominational and welcomes all to worship.
