LACONIA — Rev. Neil H. Wilson will lead his first Sunday service at the Laconia Congregational Church this weekend.

Rev. Wilson joined the church as senior pastor on Sept. 5.

He and his wife Donna both grew up in Maine. Rev. Wilson attended Earlham School of Religion in Indiana, graduating in 1998 with a master’s degree in Divinity, and he was ordained that year.

He became the senior pastor of a Congregational Church in Indiana, then of the First Congregational Church of Charlevoix, Michigan, where he has served for the last 11 years.

Rev. Wilson will join Associate Pastor Rev. Paula Gile, who has served the church since 2010.

The Congregational Church of Laconia United Church of Christ is located at 18 Veterans Square in Laconia. Sunday services take place at 9:30 a.m.
