CENTER HARBOR — Lamprey Real Estate Associates has been a real estate tradition in the Lakes Region since 1945. Bob and Stewart Lamprey started their business in the house they grew up in Moultonborough and over the years expanded and relocated, finding a permanent home on Route 25 in Center Harbor.

When Mary Lamprey-Bare was president of the company, she implemented state-of-the-art technology and new marketing concepts but always made sure that even with all the “new” technology, the heart of their business was always “good old-fashioned service” that has been the benchmark of the company.

Mary Lamprey-Bare was also deeply passionate about the local business community and enjoyed hosting an annual holiday party and networking event. The company has tried to maintain this tradition since Mary’s passing in 2018 but could not be held last year due to Covid. Christopher Williams, Lamprey’s office manager, welcomes the return of this annual tradition, and along with the Meredith Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Holiday Open House and Chamber Connections event on Thursday, Dec. 9 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Members of the business community are invited to attend, network and enjoy some holiday merriment at their location at 249 Whittier Highway. The theme will be “All is Bright” and along with festive decorations, there will be food and beverages. There is no charge for the Chamber Connections event but reservations are appreciated. Visit the Chamber’s website at www.MeredithAreaChamber.com, call 603-279-6121 or email Leslie Sturgeon, executive director, at Leslie@MeredithAreaChamber.com.
