To The Daily Sun,

Thank you, Tilton School Seniors!

For the past 10 years (Tilton school has done it for 15 years plus) I have had the pleasure of working closely with a wonderful group of Tilton young people. Through the years their names and faces have changed, but their work ethic, positive influence and helpful attitude have never wavered. These are senior students at Tilton School. Their task has been to assist the elderly residents of our community clean up their yards in both the spring and the fall.

Under the guidance of their student advisor, Julia Caldwell, they have undertaken this task each year with enthusiasm that brings smiles and gratitude to our senior citizens. As one resident so aptly wrote this year, "I have met some of the best young men and women we have here at Tilton School." "I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to this program."

In an age where we hear so much about problems with our youth it is so very refreshing to know that we are fortunate to have Tilton School and their young students as a part of our community. To say a simple thank you seems small compared to their efforts, but it is very heartfelt.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for a job well done, and know how much we appreciate your efforts.
