To The Daily Sun,

I just wanted everyone to know we will be having our second annual Independence Day Boat Parade on Lake Winnipesaukee this Sunday, July 4. The parade will gather at The Weirs near the public docks at 10:45 a.m. and depart at 11 a.m., making its rounds through Meredith Bay, Governors Island, through Saunders Bay and back around through Paugus Bay.

We had approximately 150 boats last year for this event and are expecting a few more than last year weather permitting. Boats will be decorated and everyone is invited to watch from shore or by water.

State Rep. Mike Bordes
