BRISTOL — Police are investigating the death of a man early Wednesday on Bristol Hill Road.

The department received a call about 2:45 a.m. about a medical emergency on the road. Officers found a man dead on the side of the road, which was closed for several hours during the investigation.

An autopsy will be performed later this week, the department said in a news release. “No arrests have been made, and there is no known danger to the public at this time.”

The department was asking anyone with information about the case to call 603-744-6320.

The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of family.
