LACONIA — Richard Conrod, accused of negligent homicide-DWI in a fatal car crash last month in Gilford, waived arraignment in Belknap Superior Court Thursday.
Conrod, 47, of Belmont, is charged with causing the two-vehicle collision on Route 11 that took the life of a 20-year-old Massachusetts woman who was riding in the other vehicle, and seriously injured two others, including the car’s driver. Conrod is also charged with two counts of second-degree assault.
Conrod’s bail remains $25,000 personal recognizance.
As part of the bail conditions, Conrod is prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages or using non-prescribed drugs, and is forbidden from driving a motor vehicle.
Concord is being represented by attorney Ryan Russman of Exeter, according to court documents.
