Delivering holiday cheer

Patrick Gale, left, delivers a free Christmas tree to Carrie Pike, center, and Camren Dunn. Gale has used his position as produce manager at the Concord Food Co-op to donate extra Christmas trees from the store to Laconia area families in need for two years via Facebook. "We're up to about 20 [trees] and we just posted it today," Gale said Tuesday. Gale also hopes to find other sources for donated trees. "We're going to run out definitely. I'm hoping I can find someone who's just planning on throwing away trees or something, just because there's been a pretty overwhelming amount of people asking this year."
