BELMONT — Local police responded to 158 calls for service between Friday, Sept. 7, and Thursday.

Ten people were arrested.

Thomas T. Chambers, 30, of 39 Leavitt Road, in Belmont, was arrested for driving after his license had been revoked or suspended, and possession of drugs.

Jonathan T. Currier, 42, a transient, was arrested on a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.

Timothy E. Peavey, 58, a transient, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Laconia District Court.

Benjamin Blasi, 33, of Meredith Bridge, Apt. 420, in Laconia, was arrested for driving after his license had been revoked or suspended.

James M. Spiller, 61, of 51 Silkwood Ave., Apt. D2, in Belmont, was charged with two counts of simple assault.

Kenneth W. Belyea III, 41, of 36 Spring St., in Laconia, was arrested for possession of a controlled drug, and possession of marijuana.

Madeline A. Gagne, 29, of 241 Union Road, in Belmont, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Laconia Police Department.

Jessica R. Sawyer, 36, of 177 Loudon Road, Apt. 209W, in Concord, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Concord Police Department.

Bryan T. Richardson, 24, of 5 Brookside Circle, in Belmont, was arrested for driving after his license and been revoked or suspended, and disobeying a police officer.

William N. Moore, 30, of 32 Brown Hill Road, in Belmont, was arrested for receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, driving after his license had been revoked or suspended, and disobeying a police officer.

Police investigated a traffic accident on Daniel Webster Highway (Route 3).

Police investigated reports of thefts on Union Road, Belmont High School, Maple Hill Drive, and Bean Hill Road.

Thefts reported on Union Road, Belmont High School, Maple Hill Drive, and Bean Hill Road were investigated.

Police responded to disturbances reported on Dock Road and Ham Avenue.

The report of an assault at the Belknap Mall was investigated.

Police investigated a report of identity theft.
