New Belmont officer sworn in

Mitchell Flournoy shakes hands with Belmont Deputy Town Clerk Jennifer Cashman after being sworn in last Thursday as the Belmont Police Department's newest officer. Originally from Concord, Flournoy was most recently a sheriff's deputy in Williamson County in Tennessee. Flournoy will undergo an extensive Field Training Program with the Belmont Police Department's field training officer team before attending a law package certification course at the state Police Academy in Concord.
