Youth vendor to sell baked goods at Gilford farmer’s market

Gabriella DeCarli’s home bakery, The Cookie Jar, will be a new vendor at the Gilford Farmer’s Market starting June 15 at the Rowe House on Belknap Mountain Road. Gabriella, known as Ella, came up with the idea to start her own home bakery while trying to find ways to fundraise money to help her attend the ITheatrics Broadway Junior theater summer program this summer in New York City. The Gilford Farmer’s Market introduced a youth vendor space at this year’s market, and Ella is looking forward to the opportunity to share her sweet treats.  With an affordable youth rate from the market, Ella will make her entrepreneurial debut Saturday, June 15. The Cookie Jar will feature seasonal baked goods from June through August straight from the jar. Gabriella is an eighth grader at Gilford Middle School. The Gilford Farmer’s Market runs June to September, Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon at the Rowe House, 88 Belknap Mountain Road. (Courtesy photo)
