Laconia-Gilford Lions honor Marylin Brown

The Laconia-Gilford Lions Club President KIng LIon Allyn Bridge presents LIon Marylin Brown with the club's 2017 President's Award. "Marylin is a career educator who has been a Lion since 2006. She has also served as a past club president," Bridge said. "The President's Award is bestowed for outstanding service to the club. Marylin certainly is deserving of it for her efforts, including her work involving the club's Electronic Waste Recycling Collection fundraising events. And beyond that, she represents the values of steadfast dedication, loyalty, team effort and selflessness which the Lions, largest service organization in the world, value. No wonder our pride of Lions take such pride in her!" (Courtesy photo)
