GILFORD — The Wings of Freedom Tour will make a stop at the Laconia Municipal Airport on the main ramp, at 65 Aviation Drive in Gilford on Monday, Sept. 17, with ground tours and displays on Sept. 17 from 12 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Aircraft that will be there include the B-17 Flying Fortress “Nine O Nine," B-24 Liberator “Witchcraft,” B-25 Mitchell "Tondelayo" bombers, and P-51 Mustang "Toulouse Nuts" fighter.

Admission, at $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12, includes viewing and tours through the inside of the aircraft. Discounted rates are available for school groups.

Also available are flights aboard the rare aircraft. Flights on either the B-17 or B-24 are $450 per person. P-51 flight training is $2,200 for a half hour and $3,200 for a full hour. B-25 flights are $400 per person.
