MEREDITH — Forestview Manor Assisted Living Community will offer a seminar on "Identifying the Early Signs of Dementia" on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. at its 153 Parade Road location. Admission is free to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Michelle Boiardi, a HallKeen assisted living specialist with 20 years of experience in the field will present the interactive seminar and take questions. The program will include the differences between Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, and what can be done once a diagnosis has been made.

Early detection can result in a higher quality of life for the person afflicted, less stress for the family caregiver, and more time to treasure the present and prepare for the future.
