New England local earns college scholarship to play golf

Eighteen-year-old Ena Baker, a senior at Marshwood High School in South Berwick, Maine, has accepted with a four-year scholarship at William Penn University for Golf in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Baker will leave Aug. 17 to move into her dorm. She has been nominated for Seacoast All-Star sports for 2018 and is the only girl nominated. The final ceremony will be held on June 18 in Portsmouth. Baker is the daughter of Lleldan and Charisse (Lafond) Baker of Rollinsford, and granddaughter of Sharon Lafond of Laconia, Janet and Dave Lafond of Laconia,  and Joyce Baker of Barrington.
