MEREDITH — Join artist Verne Orlosk at the League of NH Craftsmen — Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a fused glass fancy fall landscape class.
In this class students will learn the basics of fused glass to create their own fall landscape panel. Orlosk will begin with a brief lesson on the elements used in fused glass as an art form. Students will use her personal studio vitrigraph and other specialty glass to create a fall landscape scene.
Vitrigraph is a process where molten glass is pulled from the bottom of a supported kiln to make curved shapes, cane and twists. A favorite place, a photo, and/or just color and line will inspire your art. Student’s panels will be fired in a kiln off-site after the class, and will be returned to the gallery for pickup when complete.
Register by Monday, Sept. 22 at meredith.nhcrafts.org/classes.
