FRANKLIN — A Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Auction, sponsored by AutoServ to benefit the Franklin Opera House, was a sellout event.

Taking place on Sept. 8, the event featured notable “celebrity” political and business leaders as waiters, serving a packed house of more than 130 attendees at the new Franklin Elks Lodge.

Guests generously tipped their waiters, then bid on items in a silent auction and a live auction that followed the dinner.

Overall, the event raised more than $10,000 to support the ongoing mission of the Franklin Opera House, to provide the best in community arts programs and live entertainment to the Lakes Region.
