BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR Beginning January 2, 2020
Alton School District is seeking applicants for the position of Business Administrator. With a staff of 100, the Business Administrator for the Alton School District has the sole responsibility for human resources, payroll, accounts payable, grants management, state and federal reports/requirements, and budget oversight.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience with Infinite Visions preferred. Knowledge of current principles and methods of public school district business and management; knowledge of budgeting, accounting, payroll, and purchasing; demonstrated experience in school finance, school district organization, current principals and methods of public school district business and management; knowledge of human resources benefits and entitlements; knowledge of applicable business, state and local laws and procedures and polices dealing with school districts; exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: At least five years’ experience as a School Business Administrator preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, School Business Management or a related field is required – a Master’s Degree is preferred. Must currently hold or is eligible for New Hampshire Department of Education Business Administrator Certification.
