Details of Sanbornton's payroll should be published in the town report

To The Daily Sun,

The Sanbonton Annual Town Report, as far as I can recall, always had a section entitled "Compensation for Elected & Town Employees," which was included in the 2014 report. For some reason the last two reports, for 2015 and 2016, did not include that compensation information. I hope that this pertinent information will be included in the 2017 Annual Report so the public will be able to understand the impact of the new pay matrix and be able to compare the newly established matrix salaries to the past starting salaries of 2016.

The Board of Selectmen at a recent meeting authorized the town administrator to schedule a public presentation/discussion on the pay matrix system for the public. No date for the presentation has been scheduled as of yet. I am looking forward to the presentation and to hear what the rationale behind the various salary increases was.
