U15 Sachems lacrosse drops 10-8 game to John Stark

The Laconia Sachems' U15 lacrosse team traveled to John Stark on a cold, wet Sunday to square off against the Generals. It seemed like it took the Sachems an entire half to get going, as the Generals took a 4-1 lead into halftime. Attack Riley Roy tallied the only score of the first half for the Sachems. The youngsters from Laconia were able to regroup and came out fired up for the second frame. Long stick middie Logan Bell (2 goals, 1 assist) started the comeback just 45 seconds into the half. Attack Bailey Moore (2 goals) and middie Parker Minor (1 goal, 1 assist) were able to knot the score at 5. The Generals took back the momentum and posted a 9-5 lead going into the fourth. Roy recorded his second goal of the day followed by Middie Christian Platon's first of the season. Bell wrapped up the scoring for the Sachems as their second comeback on the day fell just short and the Sachems went home on the short end of a 10-8 score. Defensively Noah Shastany and Garrett Whitney fought hard to limit the General's offense and allow their teammates to climb back into the game.
