Gilford girls lose tennis matches to Berlin, Bow

The Gilford High School girls' tennis team stands at four wins, four losses after dropping two decisions this week.

Gilford lost to Berlin 6 to 3 on Monday. Brook Poll's 8-4 win was Gilford's only singles victory of the match, while doubles teams Emily Hanf/Abby Lines and Poll/Sisi Remick were able to earn Gilford's second and third wins.

The Golden Eagles suffered their second loss on Tuesday, a 5-4 decision against Bow. Top-seeded Lindsey Corsack earned Gilford a win in singles play, as did Kayla Vieten in the fifth singles match. Gilford needed to sweep the doubles matches to steal the win, however, only the teams of Lines/Vieten and Poll/Abigail Kourafas were victorious.

Gilford has the chance to earn its fifth win on Monday when the team hosts Kearsarge.
