Gilford tennis finds fourth win

The Gilford High School girls' tennis team picked up its fourth win of the season on Friday, beating White Mountains 7 matches to 2.

White Mountains took both the top singles matche, won by Lisa Windeler, and the top doubles match, with Windeler paired with third-seeded singles player Emma Ainsworth. However, Gilford took the balance of the matches, with Abby Lines, Kayla Vieten, Abigail Kourafas, Sisi Remick and Brook Poll all winning their singles matches. Gilford also won the second and third doubles matches to improve its season record to 4-2.

The Golden Eagles were scheduled to play again yesterday afternoon at Berlin High School.
