Laconia police ask for help after cars are keyed on Arch Str…

LACONIA — Police are investigating five reports of parked cars on Arch Street being "keyed" overnight from Monday to Tuesday. Police said the first report came at 10 a.m. and multiple reports came in throughout the day. Anyone who saw or heard anything or had any information is asked to call the Laconia Police at 524-5252 and ask for Patrol Officer Lindsey Legere. Read more

Gilford Community Band fires up for Old Home Day

GILFORD — The Gilford Community Band will conclude its summer concert program at the Gilford Old Home Day on Saturday, Aug. 27. Evelyn was born January 1933 in Wheelock, Vermont, daughter to the late Homer and Laura Dezan.
