Nerves get to LHS bowling team in team finals

Last Saturday were the team finals for the 12 schools that compete in NHIAA Bowling. Laconia High School was hoping for a good showing. Nerves set in early and stayed with the team the whole time. Laconia was bummed out in the first round by Hollis Brookline 4 games to 1 of the best of 7. Laconia's good shots were too few and far between one another. Of the 7 bowlers available only 2 had finals experience. Laconia fielded a young team this year, 10 of the team's 11 bowlers are eligible to return next year.
For the Individuals, Laconia learned this week that another one of its bowlers will compete in the individual championship Saturday in Manchester. The top 64 list was one short. The next bowler eligible is Panthavy Pradachith, who will compete in the Medal Flight starting at 11:30 a.m. Nathan Batchelder and Aaron Smith will compete in Championship Flight that starts at noon.

Pinkerton went on to win Team Finals.
