GHS cruises past Inter-Lakes

Gilford ran out to an early lead and never looked back in posting a 68-24 win over Inter-Lakes on Feb. 4. The Eagles jumped out to an 18-9 lead after the first quarter behind 10 points from Cassidy Bartlett. The second quarter was much the same as Gilford outscored the Lakers 20-6 to take a commanding 38-15 advantage at the break. The second half was much the same as the hosts outscored the visitors 30-9.
Gilford improved to 9-4 on the season. Cassidy Bartlett lead all scorers with 17 points. Kayla Orton added 13 points followed by Maddie Harris with 10. Mariah Nelson contributed with 6 points and Jordan Dean, Brid Fillion, Anna Malek and Alex Harris all scored 4 each. For Inter-Lakes Kaylee Converse scored 8 points followed by Lydia Swedberg with 5 points.
