GHS swimmers close season at Lebanon meet

Gilford High School swim team ended its team season Friday at a meet hosted by Lebanon High School. Once again the team had many  performances to be proud of. Rebecca Cook placed first in the 50 free, 27.06 and 200 free. Michael Hart placed first in the 200 Individual medley and third in the 100 back. Owen Sanborn placed second in the 100 free with a 1:00.89 and 4th in the 200 free. Warren Thompson placed 3rd in the 100 breast and fourth in the 50 free with a 26.49. Katie Gingrich placed 6th in the 50 free and made another State Qualifying time in the 200 free at 2:29.71. Ayden Ernst placed 4th in the 100 free at 1:01.63 and 9th in the 50 free. Autumn Bos achieved a best time in the 100 free. Kaitlyn Egbert placed 7th in the 100 free with a 1:09.01 swimming a best time in the 100 back. Joseph Bonnell placed 7th in the 100 breast and swam a best time in the 50 free. Kyle Davies swam two best times in the 50 free and 100 free dropping a total of 9 seconds in both events from his first performance this season. Brendan Carkin swam a best time in the 50 free and the 100 back. Chrissy Leach swam the 50 free and achieved a best time in the 100 breast. Lisa Osborne for her last high school meet swam the 50 free and tried her hand at the 100 breast this week. The boys 100 medley relay swimming their best time all season with a 2:06.08, Michael Hart, Warren Thompson, Owen Sanborn and Ayden Ernst.
