GHS girls earn win over Farmington

Gilford overcame a sluggish first half to run its record to 8-4 with a 50-27 win over Farmington. The Eagles, playing their first game after an eight day layoff, had trouble converting in the first quarter and took a slim 5-3 lead after one. They pushed the lead to 19-14 at the half. The second half was all Gilford as they outscored the Tigers 31-13. For Gilford Jordan Dean led all scorers with 14 points,7 rebounds and 5 steals. Maddie Harris added a double double on the night with 13 points to go along with a team high 14 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Cassidy Bartlett added 7 points followed by Kayla Orton and Kelsey Buckley who both contributed with 6 apiece. Brid Fillion and Julia Harris both scored 2 points to round out the scoring.
