What did commissioners have to do with lawsuit against delegation?

  • Published in Letters

To The Daily Sun,

When local conservatives bring a lawsuit it is called wasting the court's time.
When local Democrats and one RINO bring a suit against the Belknap County Delegation/Convention, it is assumed that the action is justified.
We now learn a lessen in country government: know what you are doing, and do not waste the taxpayers' dollars! I do hope that the losers are responsible for legal fees that the INNOCENT spent defending themselves against the plaintiffs (the Democrats and one RINO). Or was this action brought only to financially hurt the members?
This was about a county budget. The taxpayers won. County reps who initiated this stupidity are Democrats Ruth Gulick, David Huot, Beth Arsenault, Ian Raymond, and Lisa DiMartino. Dennis Fields of Sanbornton was the lone Republican. So what did this cost the taxpayers of Belknap County — every community? What did the County Commissioners have to do with this? Come on now, tell the truth.
